About the Oil: Lemon essential oil is considered the 'highest note' in aromatherapy and it is great in a diffuser as a mental 'brighten-me-up'. The oil is also used to detoxify with 3 or so drops ingested in a cup of purified water in the morning to assist in flushing the liver. This lemon oil is produced from cold pressing the peeling of the lemon from trees grown in California. It is a sourced naturally-grown organic fruit for citrus oil production. By cold-pressing the oil from the peels it leaves the lemon oil perfectly fresh and 'lively'. Cold-pressing will yield around six pounds of oil from one ton of fruit making it the freshest available.
Aromatherapy Notes: This Lemon essential oil carries a light, bright citrus and floral top note that blends into a deeper, soft honeyed orange blossom middle note, supported by a slightly sweet resinous undertone.
